Our team will start your appointment by asking a few questions about your medical and dental history. Certain medical conditions or medications can impact your treatment plan, so we will also ask you to list any medications, supplements, and vitamins you are taking and their corresponding dosages.

We will then perform a comprehensive oral exam. This may include x-rays and a non-invasive oral cancer screening. If no signs of periodontal disease are present, one of our hygienists will continue with a routine cleaning. If we do notice signs of periodontal disease, we may ask you

to reschedule the cleaning portion of your appointment to allow the proper amount of time for a thorough cleaning.

Once your exam is finished, we will discuss our findings with you. Together, you will create a treatment plan to help you achieve and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile.
